This November, ShoNet once again had the profound honour of joining the War Widows’ Association for their annual march and remembrance events in London. This marks the fourth consecutive year that we’ve been invited to stand beside the Association on Saturday’s parade, and for the first time, we also joined them on Sunday’s Remembrance Service.
The War Widows’ Association represents the voices and experiences of women who have lost their partners in service to the nation. Many of these incredible women not only carry the memory of their loved ones but have also served themselves — continuing to dedicate their lives to their families and communities with dignity and resilience.
Each story we hear reminds us of the courage it takes to rebuild after loss and of the quiet strength that binds this community together.
We are deeply grateful to the Association for their trust and friendship over the years. Supporting an organisation that stands as a pillar of remembrance, advocacy, and empowerment is both a privilege and an inspiration for our entire team.
